FIREATER LetterPRESS

A chap who could set and compose type (a Compositor) that had the ability to set type with some haste was known back in the day as a Fire Eater. The press room of old had the ability to produce slabs of type in quick succession and on a large scale but also had the propensity to produce some amazing terms which are still in usage today. Fireater was long in thought and even more so in the collecting and establishing and is a printshop that is equipped to produce small edition wood type posters, custom proofing, business stationery, wedding suites and one day workshops.

The workshop boasts three presses Gerhard the Geitz Platen press, Rod the Korrex and John the Farley proofing press. Each one of these presses brings its own history and also enables the workshop to tackle the majority of projects which will come our way.
